Criteria / Eligibility

1. The candidate must be a registered student in Nova Scotia and enrolled in a grade from Primary to 12.
2. The recipient of the bursary must have demonstrated leadership in:
- organizing a school or community based activity/project,
OR
- promoting positive attitudes and behaviours as outlined by Positive Effective Behavioural Support (PEBS), peace, social cohesion and diversity.
The activity/activities or project may be related, but not limited to, issues that arise in one or more of the following areas:
- healthy relationships
- family
- abilities/disabilities
- physical/mental/emotional health
- race/culture/ethnicity
- sexual orientation
- gender
- class
- age
- community enhancement
- religion/spirituality
